The employees at APTech’s corporate office in Urbana, Illinois came together this summer to raise money for the Champaign County Humane Society. Throughout the month of July, employees were encouraged to leave a donation whenever they took a drink from the fridge, with the goal to raise $250. By the end of the month, we exceeded our goal!

APTech understands the importance of giving back to the community, and our employees always come through with their generosity. Fundraising not only makes where we live and work a better place, but also engages staff, strengthens relationships, and boosts morale among colleagues.

“The fundraiser for the Champaign County Humane Society is the first of what we hope to be many smaller fundraisers that can be done throughout the year to help our local organizations,” said Kathryn Olson, Administrative Assistant at APTech and co-organizer of the event.

APTech’s other fundraising efforts include Giving Tuesday in November and our annual toy and donation drive benefitting local youth services organizations, such as Cunningham Children’s Home, Crisis Nursery, and the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club.
