Vice President Kurt Smith shares expertise on concrete pavement joint sealing

On Tuesday, Vice President Kurt Smith, P.E. is giving a presentation titled “Concrete Pavement Joint Sealing” at the 19th Arizona Pavement/Materials conference. This event is being held from November 16-17 in Tempe, Arizona.

The conference will focus on infrastructure resilience and preservation with feature sessions focusing on:

  • Concrete Pavement Performance

  • Plastic and Rubber in Asphalt Pavements

  • Targeting Net Zero Emissions

  • Pavement Preservation: Successes and Failures

As the Director of APTech’s State and National Agencies Program, this conference allows Kurt the opportunity to share his knowledge on pavement preservation methods and to meet and collaborate with likeminded experts throughout the country. APTech has long been involved with pavement preservation efforts, with the most recent being the authoring of the Concrete Pavement Guide for the Federal Highway Administration.
