APTech Staff to Attend Annual 4 States Airport Conference
The 4 States Airport Conference gathers the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska and centers on aviation. The event allows state representatives, individual airports, consultants, and other aviation-related organizations to come together and discuss issues facing the Federal Aviation Administration’s Central Regional Airports Division. Educational topics are offered with the belief that if common solutions to these problems are presented, then a united front can be made to solve them.
Program Director Genevieve (Gen) Long, P.E. and Pavement Engineer Laura Raczkowski, P.E. will be in attendance, with both currently managing multiple pavement engineering projects within these four states. Both see this as an opportunity to learn and stay abreast of current events in the aviation industry for the Central Division.
“I enjoy attending this event each year,” said Gen. “I look forward to catching up with many of our clients and teaming partners.”
The conference takes place Wednesday, August 24 to Friday, August 26 in downtown Kansas City. Read more about IDEA and see how APTech can help your agency get the most out of pavement data—and why two of the four states that make up this conference use it.
